Programs

The Former First Lady Libraries sponsors and supports programs related to literacy, education, the development and growth of cultural and international stewardship. Programs rooted in the United States not only encourage literacy and educational awareness but also help raise awareness for youths who lack resources to help foster their education abroad, especially those living in rural parts of the Philippines.

All projects sponsored by the Former First Lady Libraries help to increase cultural awareness, promote literacy, education, and goodwill throughout the world. Recent projects include school supply drives, books drives for school children, the adoption of schools and orphanages in the Philippines, and essay contest for the students in the United States.
